Chez moi_by Biljana Jovanovic

My today's post is actually an apartment I designed...which is still work in progress. It is very small and cosy apartment sitauted in the very heart of Budapest (Hungary), in a very typical turn-of-the-century house.

PET bottles urban garden_by Studio Rosenbaum

Talking about plastic bottles...I bumped into this vertical garden project made out of used plastic bottles in Sao Paulo. It is part of the project called Lar Doce Lar done for Brazilian television in which Studio Rosenbaum designs homes for people living in poor conditions. Through this project they try to improve the living conditions of these families. This urban garden was part of the Rodrigues House project... a house for a mother who raises her 2 daughters on her own and earns around 80 euros per month . These women were already using  used cans for planting, so that's where the idea came from.

Bobble_by Karim Rashid

So, my friend Petra, a devoted reader of interior design blogs  (and a recent blogger, too) has been bugging me to make my blog a bit more (inter)active. So far, I was only publishing my works (and honestly, since I have been freelancing for a bit over a year now, I don't really have too many designs that I did totally on my own......and the works I did as part of a bigger team in architectural studios I didn't really want to advertise as my own).
Anyway, I will try to start this blog now by just putting stuff that I like. I still don't really have any idea how to make it very clear and easy to understand to my readers what are the things I did and what is just stuff I like and would like to recommend.
So, let's give it a try.

I've been thinking for a long time what should my first post be about. So I decided to just keep it simple and write about a product I recently bought and started using and am totally delighted by it. (I bought one for Petra as well, but I still need to deliver it to her home :)
